Violent Video Games

Many children around the world play video games mostly everyday. Those many video games that those children play are violent enough to cause aggressive behavior. So the question, does violent video games cause aggression, true?

Violent video games can cause aggressive behavior in many ways. One of these many ways is when you can’t get through an obstacle in the game that you continuously couldn’t beat. Violent games are the worst games to play when you’re dealing with these obstacles. Scientist have proven that when you become stress out, your brain will respond by blaming on the game itself. Also, you start banging the controller on the floor and start hitting yourself or any other objects in your way {that includes humans}. You could even go further with children that will bite, kick, and even pull hair. You are so connected to game that you do it over and over again until you beat it, and by the time you finish the obstacle, your aggression already increased by 10 to 20% maybe. Another way is the wanting to play the game. The violent games are like an advertisement saying “play me”. You want to play so badly and would do anything just to set your eyes on it. So when you have a chance you play until you sleep or maybe die. What I am trying to say is that the more you play it the more you become aggressive which the game will persuade you in its own way. It’s like you growing up in a family that has violence all around you. They teach you, you actually see it, and you experience throughout your life. The violent games are like that it feels as if you have grown up with it and that’s why violent games make a person aggressive actions increase. Nothing can prevent these kids from playing violent video games.

The children and adults could freely choose the violent games the want. I bet the reader disagrees with this, right. Well you’re wrong if you disagree because most children have careless parents. They don’t care what they buy for there child. All they care about is that there child is happy and leaves them alone. Those parents that do look after there child and what they play is the same results as a parent that wouldn’t care. First of all, the E-rated games still causes’ violence. All little children love fantasy and will believe {some children} that this cartoon violence such as TMNT, and Sly Copper 3, is real. This would only get to the young, childish minds or children from ages 5 and down. Those strong minded would not be affected. Scientists have tested from children up to adults and they all had the same results. They tested a 6 year old boy. The scientists gave the child to play an E- Rated game that the parent allowed the child to play. The child played the game for 30 minutes. Later the scientists found increase aggression then before about 2 to 10%. Imagine if it was much more time given. The same test was given to teens {T-rated games} and adults {M-rated games} and the same results were repeated over and over again. The rating system is useless because nobody really cares about the rating system of it. They only care about the graphics, and how good the game is. I only care about the graphics and how good the game is played too but I think smart not like other people who don’t think at all of what they are doing.

Most of you are saying right at this moment, how come I am not aggressive? Well the answer is that you are aggressive. In all our own ways, we are all aggressive but not that much that we fight in school or rip each other apart because of discipline in our school that we don’t dare to do it for little jokes but we will fight if we really get angry. We also don’t have that much aggression because we have strong minds or are smart about what we do and know our limits of violent video games. We know when enough is enough. I have asked lots of my friends if they play too much violent video games. Al lot of them said no because they knew if they played too much it will riot their brain and they will become mindless if they continue. Most of them said they haven’t play violent video games for a long while. The important thing is that violent video games will cause aggression if you are not careful enough.

The violent video games that people play do have an effect on their aggressive behavior. So watch what you play and make sure you don’t play too much or else you will turn into a mindless video game zombie.
